Ambika krishna is a RJ in akashavani Rainbow 107.5 by proffession she lost her husband at a very young age of 19 and is now widow of Air force officer Shivaraj H is now starting a new journey of her life .She is now ready for All-india solo ride expedition from Kochi.
She is becoming inspiration to women
She is setting examples for women like her and also been a inspiration .The ride will be a tribute to soldiers and their widows .While Persuing her graduation she lost her husband and had a three-month old daughter to take care of. This solo ride will connect all the 25 rainbow stations across the country.
Journey of Ambika Krishna
When my husband passed away in 1997, I was a BCom student. I had many pending papers to clear. I had to complete my graduation to be eligible for good placement on compassionate grounds. So, some of my friends took care of my daughter Arya, when I went to college and some others taught me the missing portions,” she said
She also told the story of her struggle ,how she used to learn computer skills to get a job of accountant she also learned cost accounting and registered at the Cochin chapter of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) in 2008 after that she joined akashavani at as a casual assignee in the same year this way she also got a chance to pursue her passion as an RJ . She also thanked each one of akashavani members who supported her during her journey.
