INDIA’S EXCLUSIVE CHILD FRIENDLY SPACES WILL MAKE IT’S DEBUT THIS WEEKEND AT KSR RAILWAY STATION



RPF data says 581 children were rescued out of which 304 of them were the victims of trafficking . The first India’s exclusive child friendly space will make it’s debut this weekend a .It is being prepared on platform 1 at KSR Railway Station,named as ‘Khushi Hub’ 600 sqft space is given by Railways to the anti trafficking unit of Railway protection force (RPF)

‘Nanhe farishte’

With the motive of making it a safe place for children ‘Nanhe farishte’, NGOs child line India and international justice Mission ,making all the efforts ,Installed with CCTV cameras ,It will be monitored 24×7 and also the staff will be present throughout with easy access to it from the third entry.

Aimed to make the environment positive and healthy space for children so that they make themselves comfortable and feel at home and open up about the problems or troubles they are facing , Books ,toys,pantry, toilets, and good toilets are among the facilities that will be provided here.

The children’s rescued at railway station

The children’s rescued at railway station are taken to the master’s room or any other spare room as they can’t be taken to the police station it will have a impact on their mental health ,

It is a great initiative for childrens in terms of psychosocial support and counseling who come in contact with Railways ,It will mark SWR’s first dedicated space for councelling children rescued by RPF, including victims of child trafficking. Alok kumar,Railways Inspector General and principal chief security commissioner RPF south western Railway said.
