The National Institute of Technology, NIT Rourkela, has invited candidates to apply for Visiting Faculty positions. Eligible candidates should apply online at nitrkl.ac.in, the official website of NIT Rourkela. The deadline to apply for the positions is December 31, 2022.
The shortlisted candidates would be paid a monthly honorarium of between 1.5 and 2 lakhs rupees. The Institute will also provide other privileges such as economy class plane travel, rent-free housing, office space, medical care, and a book allowance of up to Rs.50, 000.
Eligibility criteria
The candidate must have a Ph.D. with first class honours or equivalent, a strong academic record, and a minimum of 10 years of teaching, research, or industrial experience in IITs, IISc. Bangalore, and IISERs, or other reputable Indian or foreign institutions / organisations of comparable standards.
