Agriculture has improved economic situation
New industrial strategy, improved collection of forest and agricultural output, local processing, and value addition were introduced, as were the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana, Suraji Gaon Yojana, Gramin Bhumihin Krishi Majdur Nyay Yojana, and Gramin Bhumihin Krishi Majdur Nyay Yojana. As a result, the villages’ economic situation has improved.
According to official figures, the Rajiv Gandhi Nyay Yojana has sent nearly Rs 11,180 crore to farmer bank accounts in the last two years. On the other hand, the Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumihin Krishi Majdur Nyay Yojana has benefited 3.5 lakh farmers.
Godhan Nyay Yojana
In addition, the Godhan Nyay Yojana gave SHGs Rs 226 crore and Gauthan Samitis Rs 133 crore. Over the last three years, Rs 90,000 crore has been deposited in the bank accounts of farmers.
As part of the Godhan Nyay Yojana, cattle day care homes, known as Gauthans, are being built in villages and have turned into job centres for women. Here, cow dung is sold for Rs 2 per kilogramme. Cow dung, on the other hand, is used to make vermicompost.
