Identifying the need of the hour, National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai, the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi and I-DAPT HUB FOUNDATION IIT (BHU), Varanasi, have launched the Global Online Certification Course on ‘Data-Driven Supply Chain Transformation’ in collaboration with Prof. David Simchi-Levi from the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology (MIT), USA, under the PM Gati Shakti initiative.
Professor David Simchi-Levi is well-known for his work in supply chain management and analytics. He oversees the MIT Data Science Lab as its director. He is the laureate of the coveted INFORMS Impact Prize 2020 for his work on supply chain resilience and he also holds the position of Editor-in-Chief of the renowned international journal “Management Science.”
Learning fundamental analytical approaches and fostering critical thinking abilities
The 30-hour course will only be offered on weekends from July 16 through August 21, 2022. The course will assist participants in learning fundamental analytical approaches and fostering critical thinking abilities. It is meant for academics, business professionals, and students. Given the importance of business analytics in contemporary management, this course will work to give students the grounding they need to comprehend and use analytical techniques to create value for their organisations.
