
In a recent State Karate tournament, Kahaan Chugh, a Victorious Kids Educares Grade 2 student, was awarded the ‘Best Karate Player’ trophy. According to a school statement, he also won a silver medal after winning three rounds in the age group of 7 to 8 years old.
400 participants from all over Maharashtra competed
Kahaan participated in this tournament through his sports academy, Shirke Sports Academy, and was led by his coach Gauri Bhaleghare. More than 400 participants from all over Maharashtra competed in Kata (Karate forms) and Kumite (fight bouts) competition. Kahaan competed in the 7 to 8 age category and fought four bouts (all elimination rounds). He won three rounds and successfully securing his silver medal.
Following the tournament, Kahaan was declared the winner and awarded the Best Karate Player trophy in his category based on unanimous referee voting.
President of Victorious Kids Educares, Robbin Ghosh, said, “We congratulate Kahaan and his family! At Victorious Kids Educares, we believe that there is infinite potential within every child.
