T20I Ranking: ‘This’ Indian player becomes world’s No.1 batter

Suryakumar Yadav, the swashbuckling Suryakumar Yadav, became the world’s number one batter in T20 Internationals on November 2, rising to the top on the back of his incredible form in recent times.

Yadav surpassed Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan to become only the second Indian player to be ranked as the top T20I batter.

Yadav has quickly established himself as one of the best batters in the shortest format of the game since making his debut for India in March last year, scoring one century and 11 fifties in 37 appearances.

Yadav, 32, has also appeared in 13 One-Day Internationals for India.

Yadav has 863 points, while Rizwan has 842 points. Devon Conway of New Zealand rounds out the top three with 792 points.
