Farmers are the backbone of our country. Therefore, it’s important to give them financial stability and empowerment. The government has developed numerous programmes for their benefit in order to accomplish this goal. The PM Kisan FPO Yojana is one such scheme, which aims to wipe off farmers’ debt.
The government has set a goal for the programme to develop 1,000 clubs by 2023–2024. These farmers will receive financial support from the programme to start agribusinesses in addition to their farming operations. This will ease the ongoing economic difficulties farmers are experiencing and help them become self-sufficient.
Rs 15 lakh will be transferred to farmers accounts
Under this scheme, Rs 15 lakh will be directly transferred to farmers’ bank accounts. The farmers will establish an agriculture-related business by wisely utilising the assistance. The organisation will spend money on hawks, fertiliser, pesticides, and agricultural equipment. Assistance will not be provided unless an association or group of 11 farmers forms.
Farmers must be Indian citizens, and the association must have cultivable land and proper documentation. Aadhaar card, ration card, address proof, income certificate, land documents, Aadhaar link mobile number, bank passbook copy, and passport-size photo are also required.
Farmers must register at the National Agriculture Market’s official website, www.enam.gov.in, to benefit from the PM Kisan FPO scheme. They will then be required to enter the information requested in the form and upload the necessary soft copies. It is recommended that you carefully review the information on the form. Following that, an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number with login information such as a password and an email address. Then, using www.enam.gov.in, one can check their status.
