In a bold stride towards safeguarding the innocence of its students, the Rajasthan school education department has unfurled the vibrant banner of the ‘Safe School, Safe Rajasthan’ campaign. This visionary endeavor aims to illuminate the concept of ‘unsafe touch’ for students attending government schools, ensuring their safety and well-being.
‘Good Touch-Bad Touch’ Reaches 57 Lakh Students
A symphony of change resonated across Rajasthan’s more than 65,000 government schools as the ‘Safe School, Safe Rajasthan’ campaign was set in motion. With unwavering determination, the state’s education department embarked on the mission to impart awareness about ‘Good Touch-Bad Touch’ to over 57 lakh students.
In an inspiring move, the Government Secretary of the department, Naveen Jain, hailed the initiative as a beacon of change. A grand spectacle of learning unfolded as all 50 districts of the state united in a single endeavor. From 8 am till noon, the corridors of knowledge were filled with special training sessions that aimed to enlighten young minds.
This transformative campaign’s first phase encompassed over one lakh training sessions across 65,284 government schools. With diligence and care, more than 57 lakh students were introduced to the vital concepts of ‘Good Touch, Bad Touch’, nurturing their understanding and bolstering their sense of safety.
The reverberations of empowerment are set to continue as the campaign’s journey unfolds. The state’s government schools are poised to host repeat training sessions in both October and January 2024, reiterating their commitment to fostering an environment of understanding and security.
Private Schools Join the Vision
The fire of awareness knows no bounds, as private schools too will become part of this ambitious movement. A private school in Rajasthan experienced the transformative power of education firsthand during a special training session organized as part of the campaign.
The ‘Safe School, Safe Rajasthan’ campaign paints a vibrant portrait of hope and protection for the state’s young minds.
