Toyota Camry: The new generation Toyota Camry has been launched in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price of 48 lakh rupees. This premium sedan, like its predecessor, comes to India as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit. Bookings for the new model have already begun. The latest Camry features a refreshed design language and new features.
Platform
The ninth-generation Toyota Camry was unveiled globally last year. It has been available in the Indian market for over 11 years and is now built on the TNGA-K platform.
Engine
The latest Toyota Camry sedan is powered by a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 222 BHP and 221 Nm of torque. The power is transmitted to the front wheels through an eCVT transmission.
Design Changes
The new Camry looks quite different from the previous model. It features a wider grille design, more angular headlights, and a new set of LED daytime running lights. At the rear, it has wraparound LED tail lamps that give it a Lexus-like appearance. The side profile gets a new dual-tone alloy wheel design.
Features
The 2025 Toyota Camry comes with several new features. The dashboard includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, along with a 12.3-inch digital driver display. The infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for a modern user experience. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, automatic climate control, electronic parking brake, wireless charging pad, and a premium JBL audio system with nine speakers. Additionally, the Camry is expected to come with Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), a 10-inch head-up display (HuD), and a 360-degree camera.
