LADAKH GETS ITS FIRST-EVER FM RADIO STATION FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE INDIAN HISTORY

Umang Narula, a Ladakh advisor, has launched Ladakh's first-ever FM radio station, which will broadcast to a 50-kilometer radius in the tough terrain. FM broadcasting began in India in 1977, but it took Ladakh 44 years to get its own radio station that would focus on local taste, trends, culture, and lifestyle, as well as speak to its residents and address regional issues.
