Jhilli Dalabehera competed in the women's 49kg weight class. Mirabai Chanu, a Tokyo Olympic medalist, competes in the same weight category but did not compete in the tournament. Jhilli Dalabehera, is an Indian weightlifter, she took silver in the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships 2021 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
