Shreyas Iyer became the second batsman in history of T20 to have three consecutive undefeated 50-plus innings.



In the three matches of the series, Shreyas Iyer scored 204 runs. Iyer also became only the second batter in T20I history to record three consecutive undefeated 50s. In 2019, David Warner accomplished the feat against Sri Lanka.

Rohit Sharma made his 125th T20I appearance. He has now surpassed Shoaib Malik (124) as the player with the most T20 international appearances.

In T20Is, Dasun Shanaka has the third best score by Sri Lankan captain



Dasun Shanaka, Sri Lanka's captain, on his way to a 74-run stand against India in the third T20. Shanaka's score in a T20I inning was the third highest by a Sri Lankan skipper. Kumar Sangakkara scored 78 against India in 2009 and Tilakaratne Dilshan got 104 not out against Australia in 2011.
