Rozgar Mela: PM Modi to Distribute 71,000 Appointment Letters to New Recruits

On November 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi to distribute approximately 71,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits via video conferencing as part of the Rozgar Mela.

Prime Minister also addressed these appointees on the occasion. Physical copies of appointment letters will be distributed to new appointees at 45 locations across the country (except Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh where the model code of conduct is in force in view of assembly elections).

According to the statement, in addition to the previously mentioned categories of posts, teachers, lecturers, nurses, nursing officers, doctors, pharmacists, radiographers, and other technical and paramedical positions are being filled.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, a significant number of positions in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) are being filled.

Rozgar Mela

The Rozgar Mela is the government's initiative to create jobs. According to the statement, the mela is expected to serve as a catalyst for additional job creation and to directly provide meaningful opportunities for youth empowerment and participation in national development.

Earlier this month, 75,000 newly inducted appointees were given appointment letters under Rozgar Mela.

Karmayogi Prarambh module

Additionally, PM Modi will launch the Karmayogi Prarambh module, an online orientation course for all new appointees in various Government departments.

The module will include a code of conduct for government employees, workplace ethics and integrity, human resource policies, and other benefits and allowances to help them adjust to the policies and smoothly transition into their new roles.

They will also be able to explore other courses on the igotkarmayogi.gov.in platform to improve their knowledge, skills, and competencies, according to the announcement.
