Awanish Sharan, an IAS officer who has inspired thousands of young people preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, has given five surefire mantras to candidates preparing for the Civil Services Main Examination.
He wrote on Twitter, “For Civil Services Main Examination-
1. Review the syllabus several times.
2. Only read standard books.
3. Complete the previous ten years’ question paper within the time limit.
4. Invest twice as much time in writing as in studying.
5. Pay attention to your ‘handwriting’ and try to avoid’spelling mistakes.’
The UPSC Main Exam 2022 will be held on September 16, 2022.

Chhattisgarh cadre officers from the 2009 batch scored 44.7 percent in 10th grade, 65 percent in 12th grade, and 60 percent in graduation. He had failed both the CDS and the CPF recruitment examinations.
