According to state education minister Ranoj Pegu, the Board of Secondary Education in Assam is developing a mobile application for the benefit of school students. He also stated that the education department was investigating digital education mechanisms in response to the increasing use of technology in all aspects of life.
Pegu stated that technology and digital means are being used to ensure greater benefits for students at the launch of two mobile phone applications by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA). He insisted that his department was working on digital education implementation and developing the necessary infrastructure.
The app will have online lessons, question banks and worksheets, among other features, all of which will help students get information beyond what is covered in school syllabus, official sources said.
