Major, Adivi Sesh's latest film, has been doing well at the box office since its June 3 release. Adivi has also received praise for his portrayal of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the hero of the 26/11 attacks. Adivi recently discussed the success of the Hindi version of the film, revealing that it inspired a young boy to join the Indian Army.

Major is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was killed in action during the Mumbai terrorist attacks in November 2008. The film, which was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, is said to have grossed over 42.5 crore in theatres around the world. Adivi, who makes his Hindi film debut with the action drama, discussed the Hindi version's reach.

"My mother loved it, and she thinks it's my best film," he told Pinkvilla. 'Sar uthake garva se I can look (I can look with my head held high with pride),' I think that's the moment at home for me. In Hindi, we were the underdogs, but all of a sudden it was showtime. I'm getting calls from all over the place, including Delhi and Kolkatta.

The actor also expressed his gratitude for the positive feedback he's gotten for his performance in the film, saying, "I'm so grateful for all of the love that's being spread. For me, the entire film was about spreading Sandeep's legacy.

I believe he (Major Sandeep) has entered me. It will be extremely difficult to leave the character, and I believe that I have been forever changed as a result of him, as a result of the life he lived, and I am grateful for the amount of love that has been shown to me. It has unquestionably made me a better person, more compassionate."

Prakash Raj, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Revathi, and others star in Major, directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced by Sony Pictures International Productions, GMB Entertainment, and A+S Movies.
