Up to 90% of our team will work from home permanently: Zerodha CEO

According to CEO and co-founder Nithin Kamath, nearly 950 of Zerodha’s 1100 employees will work from home on a permanent basis.

Kamath stated that the core team will be working on a hybrid model

Following the pandemic’s closure of many offices and workplaces, the company had moved its operations online. He had previously stated that the company had begun setting up satellite offices in smaller towns in Karnataka for its employees working from home. “85-90 percent of our team works from home, and we will continue to do so,” Kamath said. We’ve also established a presence in Belagavi (Karnataka).”

“We decided to work from home on a permanent basis, and people are enjoying their small towns.” We have a large team working in Belagavi, which has incredible talent. People in Belagavi are enjoying the city, having maids and independent houses that they could never afford in Bengaluru,” he said.
