Amitabh Bachchan sat down for a talk with Runway 34 director and co-star Ajay Devgn and discussed what makes him an evergreen actor. Ajay inquired about the Deewar actor’s ability to juggle everything while still delivering emotional performances. Amitabh responded by saying that his professionalism is the key to his success.
If you want to work in any industry, you must take it seriously if you name yourself a professional. Once you’ve signed a contract and agreed to work as a professional, you should follow the instructions and do whatever your director requests. And you should do it with all of your talent, or whatever the director requests,” Amitabh added.
I do exactly what is expected: Amitabh
Amitabh claimed that in each film, he simply does what is expected of him and that the magic is created by the technicians. “So, when you ask me how I do it, I have a hard time answering. He said, “You taught me the role, you told me how to do it, you directed the picture, you set the cameras in a certain manner, you took certain shots, it’s all on paper.”
In the 1970s, Amitabh Bachchan collaborated with renowned screenwriters Salim-Javed, and he has frequently thanked them for his success. He also stated that the writers are the most crucial members of the filmmaking team. Runway 34 was authored by Sandeep Kewlani and Aamil Keyan Khan.
“I believe the writer is the most important component of the team,” he remarked
The actor advised Ajay that whatever is stated on paper should be obeyed without modification. “I feel that is what should be done after all of your sessions with the writer, whatever is written and whatever is determined,” he added.”No changes should be made to that.”
Ajay has previously remarked about Big B’s professionalism on set, describing how the actor would be on set hours before his call time.
Big B would sit in his set chair and stay in character even throughout commercial breaks.
Runway 34, which also stars Rakul Preet Singh, will be released in theatres on April 29.
