‘FILM TOURISM POLICY ’APPROVED BY RAJASTHAN CABINET



HIGHLIGHTS

• Chief minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the Rajasthan film tourism policy 2022 at CM’s Residence on Wednesday 6th April
• Policy launched with an aim to develop the state as an ideal destination for shooting films
• Rajasthan has always been a favourite destination for film makers

Rajasthan is all set to welcome filmmakers in their state to shoot their project as The Rajasthan Film Tourism Promotion policy ,2022 was approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Ashok Gehlot.

Aim of the FILM TOURISM POLICY

The aim of the policy is to promote the culture of the state, tourist places and also the employment generation. Rajasthan has always been an centre of attraction for national as well as international filmmakers because of it’s tourism factor.

The cabinet also inclined to the formation of public financial Management training society and the cadre of vice-principals in higher secondary schools.

How will this policy promote the Rajasthan Culture?

The policy will promote the Rajasthan culture and art and also can be a good source of employment in various fields related to film.

Prizes and Awards

Through films Tourist places of Rajasthan like forts ,palaces, deserts, haveli’s ,sanctuaries will also be promoted in the country and world and also through this policy provisions fir financial assistance ,award and cash prizes have been proposed to encourage film production in Rajasthani language amd also it has been proposed to give financial benefits and grants to domestic and foreign filmmakers for shooting in Rajasthan.

Approval of forming a separate cadre for Vice- principals

The cabinet has also approved one of the pending demands of forming a separate cadre for vice-principals in senior secondary schools and also the cabinet has formed the public financial management Training society for training of government and officials and also the free IPD and OPD treatment schemes named as “Mukhyamantri Free Nirogi Yojna”
