Smbhav Entrepreneurship Challenge: Nurturing Grassroot innovations
Amazon has collaborated with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, the NIF Incubation and Entrepreneurship Council, Fireside Ventures, the National Innovation Foundation (an autonomous body of the Department of Science and Technology), and Freshworks to achieve the goal of reaching startup founders across Indian cities and nurturing grassroots innovations from the country’s deepest pockets.
Smbhav Entrepreneurship Challenge: Benefits of the challenge
The Amazon Smbhav Entrepreneurship Challenge is open to companies from different industries, verticals, or business models. The top 250 startups will get access to a network of startup founders, a reward from Amazon, and partner organizations. They will also get mentoring sessions geared to prepare them for the pitch days.

The top 25 entrepreneurs will get market connections, global exposure, exclusive rewards, and privileges, as well as the chance to demonstrate their businesses to potential customers, approach major investors, and be mentored by industry experts.
Smbhav Entrepreneurship Challenge: Winner of the challenge
Amazon will announce the winners at the third edition of its annual flagship summit Amazon Smbhav. The summit will take place on May 18-19. The winning startup from the final round will be named ‘Amazon Smbhav ’22 Startup of the Year,’ with a cash award of Rs40 lakhs, while the first and second runners-up will get cash prizes of Rs 15 lakhs and Rs 10 lakhs, respectively. Customers’ votes and a cross-disciplinary jury panel will be used to choose the winners.
