RAJASTHAN DIWAS 2022: HERE’S HOW THE WESTERN STATE IS COMMEMORATING THE 73RD ANNIVERSARY OF THE FESTIVAL.

Rajasthan Foundation Day, also known as Rajasthan Diwas, is celebrated on March 30th to commemorate the creation of the state. Rajasthan was created on March 30, 1949, when Rajputana was merged into the Indian Union.

Rajasthan Diwas 2022:

Rajasthan Diwas is approaching, and the celebrations are expected to be raucous! The Rajasthan Diwas will be celebrated for the 73rd time in 2022, with the Rajasthan Festival taking place on March 30. Rajasthan has a diverse culture and legacy, with notable contributions in the fields of art, music, folklore, architecture, and dance.

Every section of the state is claimed to have its unique history and legacy. The Rajasthan Festival will feature performances by folk artists to honour the state’s rich heritage. There would be more than 500 artists in attendance, not just one or two.

What’s special for students in the Rajasthan Festival

In fact, in order for future generations to learn about the state’s legacy, the state has agreed to make admission and touring to all state-owned monuments and tourist attractions free of charge for all students during the Rajasthan Festival. The Festival festivities is going to be held on March 30 at 7 p.m. at the Albert Hall.

Events and Performance

The event will feature several folk and choreographed mass performances, as well as puppet shows and aerial feats, according to Rajasthan Department of Tourism Principal Secretary Gaytri Rathore in a statement. The performances would be influenced by the Mangniayars’ and Langas’ ancestral culture, according to Rathore. Artists like Padmashri Anwar Khan and Nathu Lal Solanki, as well as celebrities like 

Roop Kumar Rathore and Sunali Rathore, will perform during the celebrations, which will also feature live Sufi music.

To the northeast are Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, to the north is Punjab, to the southeast is Madhya Pradesh, and to the southwest is Gujarat. Pakistan’s Punjab and Sindh provinces share a border with the state.
