The campaign began in Kerala's Kollam district. This is a first-of-its-kind promotion. The initiative will teach the district's citizens about the fundamentals of the constitution. The goal of the initiative is to make Kollam district constitutionally literate.

Concerning the campaign

The goal of the campaign is to educate 7 lakh Kollam citizens. The Kerala Institute of Local Administration and the District Planning Committee are hosting the event. Individuals from a gramme panchayat will be chosen in groups of ten to fifteen. A total of twenty to twenty-five people from each municipality will be chosen. These chosen individuals will receive suitable training. They will be referred to as "Senators." Senators will be organized into a squad. Each family will receive two to three sessions of courses. The campaign would also enlist the assistance of socio-cultural organizations. Students will be given special handbooks to read.

In the campaign, there is an equality forum

During the campaign's second phase, an equality forum will be established. Families make up the equality forum. They will be taught the constitution in basic words. They will also be given a short Malayalam-language handout containing the constitution's preamble. The Kerala Institute of Local Administration created this handout.
